Applications

Circular Resources

The Biocomposite Series reduces the use of petroleum-based plastics by incorporating natural materials. Additionally, the amount of CO2 emitted during the incineration of natural materials is significantly lower than that of petroleum-based plastics, and any emitted CO2 can be absorbed by plants during their growth, making them carbon-neutral. In the unlikely event that the product ends up in the natural environment, it will not generate microplastics as it decomposes naturally through biodegradation and composting, contributing to environmental conservation. These products are durable and suitable not only for disposable items but also for products that are expected to be used for a long period of time while incorporating natural materials.

Mitigation of environmental pollution

The Biocomposite Series are made from natural materials, which makes them biodegradable. By promoting biodegradation, these products can reduce the amount of waste generated and, in the event of being released into the natural environment, they can decompose like plants, reducing environmental pollution. After conducting composting tests*, it was found that the molded products decomposed and returned to the soil after just three months. These products contribute to the natural resource circulation by biodegrading in the same way as trees in natural environments.
